About Rebel Galaxy
A Leviathan disengages from warp and looms large.
Rockets spent, sublight drive down, half your broadsides are blown to scrap, and you’ve got a hold full of contraband. They’re hailing you. What’s it gonna be – Fight or Flight?
Or maybe you’ve got one last trick up your sleeve…
Epic Space Combat

You’ve played space games before… You chased the reticle, fired your lasers, launched a missile or two. Just a tiny ship amid the chaos of the battlefield.

Not anymore.

Now with Rebel Galaxy, you’re in control of an enormous destroyer, bristling with weaponry, firing massive broadside volleys, burning holes in cruisers, and bringing down fighters by the score. Or you will be if you can just earn a few extra credits. Maybe the militia won’t bother to scan your hold.

Fragile Alliances

The universe isn’t empty – it’s filled with a cast of weird, untrustworthy, endearing, or downright hostile characters.

In Rebel Galaxy you will interact with other ship captains, some hostile, some desperate for your help. You’ll meet shady characters in even shadier station bars. You’ll even have to bargain with inscrutable tentacle-faced alien freaks.

If you’re silver-tongued, you might make a few friends, or at least temporary allies. Or you could make ’em beg. Your call.

Random Universe

Rebel Galaxy takes place in a massive, randomly generated universe filled with nebulae, junkyards, asteroid belts, and ice fields.

No two star systems will ever look the same. Explore. Discover new trade routes. Scavenge from the hulks of derelicts. Mine. Hunt. Protect the less fortunate, or prey on the unwitting.

This Isn’t a Strategy Game

Rebel Galaxy has been designed from the outset for spaceship combat action.

It’s not about clicking and issuing orders. It’s about feeling the concussion of a broadside blast, and the impact on your deflectors as they absorb a particle beam meant for your shield generator.

Zoom in to control an individual turret and blast incoming torpedoes out of the sky. Lock onto a series of targets and let a fan of image-recognition missiles take them out in a pyrotechnic display. Protect your wounded side in a last desperate bid to make warp distance. Take a breath when it’s over.

But it pays to think, too

It’s not action-only around here. A shrewd player can take a very different approach. Hire a mercenary or two, set your turrets to custom AI stances, and talk your way out of a scrap.

Hang out in the bar, and you might get a hot tip about a relief vessel sent to a world wracked by famine. A smart trader might want to get there first, and offload a few tons of meat while the price is right. An unscrupulous one might make sure the relief vessel never arrives at all.

Or you could choose to be virtuous, too. There’s always that option…

About Rebel Galaxy Outlaw
Crank the volume
Chamber another round
and burn like hell
Last Chance on the Final Frontier, Back Into the Life...

Juno Markev was an outlaw and smuggler who went straight and settled down, until her husband was murdered on what should have been a simple shipping run. She's on the trail of the guy that did it.

Things don't go as planned, After an encounter in a shady watering hole goes bad, her ship is destroyed. She finds herself in debt to an old friend and casino owner who gives her a rustbucket and some words of advice.

Time to dust off and take another swing.

Rebel Galaxy Outlaw takes place in a greasy, blue-collar world of outlaws, truckers, cops and thieves. Nobody's saving the universe around here. They'd settle for saving their own skin.

Slide into your cockpit, switch on the Subspace Radio and listen to one of 7 stations with over 21 hours of music, DJs and commercials.

Drop by a seedy dive bar and play a round of 8-ball or dice poker for credits or gear. Or just sweat a few rounds of StarVenger. But don’t waste too much time, those Tachyon Lasers aren’t going to buy themselves.

Kickass Combat

Some people are preoccupied with realism. We are preoccupied with explosions. Pulling hard turns and raking the hull of your target with 45mm lead while fire billows from their engine housing. Dragging a cluster of magna-mines into an imposing pirate cruiser. Seeing the glass crack on your windscreen as a minitorp detonates just off your port side. Flaming and sparking debris tumbling into the black. That's our thing.

Let's face it, space sims have always had a bit of a problem. Six degrees of freedom means lots of folks end up lost, and half the time you're spinning in a circle trying to find an angle on a deeply unsatisfying space joust. We think we've got a pretty good solution to that. Every ship comes with an autopursuit mechanism which can be engaged at will to get your target onscreen. Spend your time fine tuning your weapons lead and dodging wreckage, not spinning in circles like an idiot.

The focus here is on getting where you want, shooting what you want, and not having to screw around.
